Exerion is a 1983 shoot-'em-up developed by Japanese studio Jaleco. Players pilot the Fighter EX in pseudo-3D space, with realistic flight inertia adding challenging controls. First launched in arcades, it was later ported to home systems like MSX and the NES. Known as *Exerion* in Japan, it is commonly called "Fire Phoenix" among Chinese players.
