Hoops is a half-court basketball game developed by Aicom and published by Jaleco. It launched in Japan in 1988 and North America in 1989. It features half-court matches, optional "winner stays on" rules, no foul calls, and an "Around the World" mode for focused shooting practice. Like Double Dragon, dunks play in slow motion but can be blocked by opponents.
