Dynasty Warriors: Extreme Legends (San Guo Wu Shuang: Meng Jiang Chuan) is an ambitious 16Mb original RPG by Nanjing Technology. Despite its name, this is not a hack-and-slash game but a deep, menu-based RPG that attempts to bring the flair of 'Dynasty Warriors' characters to the NES. It features high-quality character sprites, a sophisticated turn-based combat system, and a sprawling story covering multiple campaigns. With its large storage capacity, it includes more dialogue and detailed battle animations than almost any other 8-bit Three Kingdoms title.
