Dream Maze: The Kigurumi Adventure is a Super Famicom RPG developed by Axes Art Amuse and published by Hect, released in Japan on April 15, 1994.
Played from a first-person perspective, the game follows a teen transported to a mysterious dream kingdom. To save the world, players explore challenging mazes to rescue kidnapped princesses. The protagonist wears silly kigurumi outfits and fights cute maze monsters in turn-based battles, similar to the Wizardry or Might & Magic series.
During the adventure, the hero meets two companions—Harumi and Zachary—who help complete the quest. The game features cute art, unique maze designs with cake-themed elements, and a lighthearted, fun experience.
Since Dream Maze: The Kigurumi Adventure was only released in Japan with no official English or Chinese localization, it has low international recognition. Still, its unique premise and charming art make it a Super Nintendo RPG worth trying.
