Desert Strike: Wangan Sakusen is a Mega Drive shooter developed by Electronic Arts and released in Japan by Electronic Arts Victor on April 23, 1993. Set during the Gulf War, players pilot an AH-64 Apache attack helicopter to destroy enemy military facilities, rescue hostages, and complete other missions. The game uses a 45-degree isometric perspective to simulate various helicopter flight conditions, including flight inertia, fuel, armor, and ammunition, delivering a realistic flight experience. Its non-linear level design lets players freely explore a large map, locate targets, and finish missions.
