Corn Buster is a 1994 SNES game developed by Dutch studio Engine Software. Players control a paddle and ball to break bricks and scroll upward, blending Breakout-style and vertical shooter gameplay. Protagonist Globey the dragon sets out to recover the world’s stolen corn chip supply. Though development finished in 1994, the project was canceled amid declining SNES interest after the Sony PlayStation launch. Engine Software later offered the game’s ROM as a free download on its official website for fans to try.
