Caravan Shooting Collection is a Super Famicom game compilation released by Hudson Soft in Japan on July 7, 1995. It includes three classic vertical-scrolling shooters originally launched on the NES: Star Force (1985), Star Soldier (1986), and Hector (1987).
These titles were featured in Hudson’s annual All-Japan Caravan Festival, a nationwide touring contest where players competed for high scores. Games often launched around the event, boosting their popularity and sales effectively.
This collection delivers the authentic original versions of all three shooters, retaining their classic mechanics and level design. Players control a starship, dodge enemy fire, and destroy foes to rack up points, with ramping difficulty that tests reflexes and strategy.
Overall, Caravan Shooting Collection gives shoot-’em-up fans a chance to revisit mid-1980s shooter classics on the Super Nintendo platform.
