The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask is an action-adventure game developed by Nintendo EAD and released for the Nintendo 64 in 2000. Set in Termina, a parallel world to Hyrule, it follows Link who accidentally enters the land while chasing the Skull Kid. He discovers the moon will crash in three days, destroying the world. Link must manipulate time with the Ocarina of Time, collect the Four Giants' masks, and stop the disaster. The game features a three-day cycle mechanic, where players complete tasks in 72 hours or reset to the first day. The mask system is core: Link wears masks to become a Deku Scrub, Goron, or Zora, each with unique abilities to solve puzzles and defeat enemies. Praised for improved graphics and deeper story than its predecessor Ocarina of Time.
