Wonder Project J2: Josette of the Corlo Forest is a unique and beautiful life-simulation/adventure game developed by Givro and published by Enix. This Simplified Chinese version (v1.1 by hlken) allows players to experience the touching story of Josette, a Gijin (robot) girl created by Dr. Geppetto. Set 15 years after the original Super Famicom game, players take on the role of a 'Player' who communicates with Josette via a mechanical bird named Birdie. The gameplay is divided into two phases. In the first half, you must teach Josette how to interact with the world, teaching her everything from basic manners to complex human emotions. In the second half, the game shifts into a more plot-driven adventure as Josette faces off against the Silicornia Kingdom. With its stunning 2D hand-drawn animation style (reminiscent of Studio Ghibli) and deep emotional narrative, Wonder Project J2 is a hidden gem of the N64 library that is now fully playable in Chinese.
