Originally released as 'Makai Toushi SaGa' on the Game Boy, this NES port by Nanjing Technology brings the first game in the acclaimed SaGa series to the big screen. Players choose from Humans, Mutants, or Monsters to climb a world-spanning tower in search of Paradise. Each race features unique progression mechanics—Humans use items, Mutants gain stats randomly, and Monsters evolve by eating meat. This localized version allows players to experience the unconventional mechanics and challenging difficulty that made the SaGa series a million-selling hit for Square.
