This second version of the Xingkong translated Super Contra is based on the North American 'Super C' release. It maintains the legendary difficulty and tight controls that Konami is famous for. Set one year after the original alien invasion, players must thwart a new threat in South America. The game features original NES-exclusive levels and terrifying alien bosses. Whether playing solo or with a partner, the frantic pace and iconic chiptune soundtrack provide a quintessential 8-bit action experience. This build is optimized for stability and clear readability of the classic mission briefings.
