Saihai no Yukue (Direction of the Batons) is a historical tactical adventure game developed by Koei Tecmo's ω-Force and released on October 23, 2008, for the Nintendo DS. Commemorating Koei Tecmo's 30th anniversary, the game is set during the legendary Battle of Sekigahara. Players take on the role of Mitsunari Ishida, leader of the Western Army, in an attempt to defy history. The gameplay is split into 'Strategy' and 'Battle' phases, where players collect keywords to persuade generals and issue real-time commands on the battlefield. Known as 'Gyakuten Sekigahara' by fans for its investigative and reasoning elements similar to the Ace Attorney series, it features a rich cast of historical figures like Sakon Shima and Yoshitsugu Otani.
