Developed by Pack-In-Video for the NES, it lets players control Dutch Schaefer, who battles the alien Predator to the death in the jungle. Starting with only fist attacks, players can unlock weapons like submachine guns, laser guns, and grenades as they progress—note that the laser gun is the only weapon that damages the Predator. The game features a "Big Mode" with larger pixelated characters, where players shoot blue and red bubbles in auto-scrolling levels to earn weapon upgrades, then face the Predator in a boss fight at the level’s end. Level design has little connection to the film’s plot; enemies like giant amoebas and green jellyfish differ from the movie’s lore. After release, the game drew mostly negative reviews for its loose tie-in to the film, the protagonist’s pink outfit, and poor controls.
