Ninja Cop Saizou, known as *Wrath of the Black Manta* in Western regions, is a side-scrolling action game released by Kyugo Boueki for the Famicom/NES on November 17, 1989. Players take on the role of a ninja, using shuriken and special ninjutsu skills to traverse five levels and foil a kidnapping plot by a criminal gang and their mastermind El Toro. The North American and European versions, titled *Wrath of the Black Manta*, were published by Taito in 1990 and 1991 respectively. Compared to the Japanese version, the Western releases feature significant changes to graphics, music, and level design, with a more realistic art style and adjusted level count and order.
