The Three-Eyed One (Japanese: Mitsume ga Tōru) is an FC action game adapted from the iconic manga of the same name by legendary Japanese manga artist Osamu Tezuka. Released by TOMY on July 17, 1992, the game lets players control protagonist Hosuke Sharaku, who uses the third eye on his forehead to fire bullets, defeat enemies, and rescue the kidnapped Chiyoko Wato. A standout feature is its unique "coin upgrade" system: attacking coins dropped by enemies increases their value, up to a maximum of 1,000 points. Additionally, the main character’s signature weapon, the Red Condor, serves both as an offensive tool and a temporary platform to reach high areas or dodge enemy attacks. With simple controls and fun gameplay, it has earned widespread popularity among players.
