Metal Slader Glory is a graphic adventure game developed by HAL Laboratory and released for the Famicom on August 30, 1991. Set in 2062, it follows mechanic Tadashi, his girlfriend Elina, and her sister Azusa as they uncover a war-era mech with warnings of Earth’s peril, investigating across the moon and space stations. Featuring menu-based gameplay, dungeon exploration, and semi-real-time turn-based battles, it was one of the largest Famicom games due to its 4-year development and advanced graphics, making it a rare collector’s item. A Super NES director’s cut launched in 2000, with an unofficial English translation released in 2018.
