La Alfombra Mágica (The Magic Carpet) is a rare, unlicensed action game released by the Spanish company Gluk Video for the NES in 1991. Set in a mythical Baghdad, players control Prince Aladdin on a flying carpet to save a princess and free citizens turned to stone by an evil tribe. Armed with a magical bow and aided by a genie, you must navigate through scrolling levels and defeat various mythical foes. As an unlicensed title, it is a fascinating piece of European homebrew history, known among collectors for its distinct visual style and regional exclusivity.
