Kaiketsu Yanchamaru 2: Karakuri Land is an action platform game released by Irem for the NES on August 30, 1991. Set in the Edo period, the story follows Yanchamaru as he ventures into the mysterious Karakuri Land theme park to rescue the princess, who went missing after visiting alone. Players control Yanchamaru, who wields a spinning sword, through themed levels like Cake World and Volcano World, fighting mechanical enemies and navigating traps while collecting power-ups. Compared to its predecessor, the game features improved presentation, new special moves and a transformation system, and more balanced difficulty by removing one-hit kills and the need to re-collect the weapon for each boss fight.
