Relive the legendary pilgrimage in 'Journey to the West: Monkey King' (Qi Tian Da Sheng). Developed by Nanjing Technology in 2005, this late-era NES RPG follows Sun Wukong from his rebellion in Heaven to his journey to retrieve the sacred scriptures. The game utilizes a traditional turn-based combat system where players can level up Wukong and use his 72 transformations to defeat demons. Featuring art and music borrowed from contemporary 8-bit hits, it offers a distinct and nostalgic take on China's most famous epic.
