F-Zero X is a futuristic racing game developed by Nintendo EAD and released in 1998 for the Nintendo 64. As the third entry in the F-Zero series and the first to use 3D computer graphics, it delivers a more immersive visual experience. The game is renowned for its ultra-high-speed racing, diverse car and track designs, and consistent high frame rate.
Players pilot hover cars equipped with the G-Diffuser anti-gravity system, competing against 29 other rivals at speeds over 1,000 km/h on varied, complex tracks. It features multiple modes: the traditional Grand Prix, plus new Death Race and X Cup modes. In Death Race, players must eliminate all opponents as quickly as possible to be the last one standing; the X Cup generates random tracks, offering a fresh challenge every race.
With its fast-paced, thrilling gameplay and innovative modes, F-Zero X has become a classic in racing game history.
