Elevator Action is a classic action game released by Japanese company Taito in 1984. Players take on the role of a spy who infiltrates an enemy skyscraper, moves between floors via elevators, collects top-secret documents, and makes a successful escape. The core objective is to control elevators and stairs, avoid or defeat enemies, and retrieve intel files hidden behind red doors. Players can shoot enemies with a pistol or crush them with elevators. The game features multiple levels with increasing difficulty, more enemies, and higher attack power as you progress. You need to use flexible strategies and make good use of elevators and the environment to complete missions smoothly. Thanks to its unique gameplay and tense, exciting pace, Elevator Action was widely popular back then, ported to multiple gaming platforms, and became a classic action game.
