Play Raf World (Japan) Online Free

Journey to Silius (Japanese title: Raf World) is a side-scrolling shooter developed by Sunsoft, released for the NES on August 10, 1990. It was renamed *Interstellar Contra* by Chinese pirates to capitalize on the Contra franchise’s popularity, though it has no official ties to the series. Originally conceived as an adaptation of the 1984 film *The Terminator*, Sunsoft revised its graphics and storyline after losing the adaptation license. Players control a protagonist fighting enemies in a futuristic world, using diverse weapons and items across multiple levels. Its soundtrack is widely praised as one of the best on the NES. Notably, the Japanese and U.S. versions differ in protagonist design: the Japanese version features a helmeted hero with a hidden face, while the U.S. version reveals his face. Though it did not gain widespread acclaim in Western markets, its music and gameplay left a lasting impression on players.
