This is the Mars Electronics version of Pokémon Gold, localized in Simplified Chinese and running on the NES platform. It features the full Johto region adventure, including the day/night system and Pokémon held items. As an unlicensed port, it represents a significant effort to bring the Game Boy Color experience to the Famicom, complete with custom chiptune music and 8-bit pixel art renditions of the Johto Pokédex.
