Pokémon Stadium is a battle simulation game developed by HAL Laboratory and published by Nintendo. It launched exclusively for the Nintendo 64 in Japan on August 1, 1998. Players can transfer Pokémon from the Red, Green, Blue, and Pikachu versions to the N64 via the Transfer Pak to enjoy 3D battles. The game offers multiple modes such as free battle and tournaments, allowing players to compete against other Trainers or NPCs. Notably, it only features 40 Pokémon, most of which were used by competitors in the 1997 Nintendo Cup. It also includes Pokédex, organization, and registration features to boost player engagement. Since the game was only released in Japan, international fans may be less familiar with it.
