Nakayoshi to Issho is an adventure game developed and published by Yutaka, released for Japan’s Famicom (NES) on December 10, 1993. Themed after Kodansha’s shoujo manga magazine *Nakayoshi*, it features characters from popular series in the magazine, including *Kingyo Chuihou*, *Pocket Park*, *MinMin!*, *Taiou ni Smash!*, *Kurumi-chan to Shichinin no Kobitotachi*, and *Sailor Moon*. Players take on the role of a loyal *Nakayoshi* reader, tasked with helping manga artists retrieve a special paintbrush stolen by the villain Rakira. Players travel through manga worlds based on the above series. After clearing the second stage of each world, the player’s character transforms into that series’ protagonist and gains a partner from the same work, though partners offer no real in-game help. The game uses a brawler-style RPG format. While its overall quality is average, it has collectible value for its unique character roster and tribute to classic *Nakayoshi* manga. Notably, its *Sailor Moon* content uses Naoko Takeuchi’s original manga character designs rather than the anime versions, a key draw for original manga fans. Overall, *Nakayoshi to Issho* is a nostalgic game perfect for fans of shoujo manga and retro games.
