Metal Max is the original 1991 masterpiece that redefined the RPG genre with its sci-fi wasteland setting. This version features the historic Pioneer Cartoon translation, one of the first and most famous localizations for the Chinese market. Players start with nothing and must scavenge or buy tanks to survive the hostile wilderness. The game is famous for its 'Wanted' bounty system, dog companions, and the freedom to choose your own path. Whether you are modifying your tank's firepower or exploring derelict ruins, Metal Max provides a deep and immersive strategic experience that remains a high point of the Famicom/NES library.
