Mega Man Battle Network 5: Team Protoman (US version) challenges players to stop Dr. Regal and Nebula from taking over the internet. Led by the ace NetNavi Protoman, players build a folder of Battle Chips to engage in fast-paced real-time grid combat. This version offers exclusive Navis like MagnetMan, NapalmMan, and GyroMan for the strategy-RPG 'Liberation Missions'. The narrative focuses on teamwork and the bond between Lan and MegaMan.EXE as they utilize 'Soul Unison' to borrow powers from teammates. A deep, content-rich RPG that serves as a high point in the Battle Network series.
