Lemmings is a classic puzzle game developed by DMA Design (now Rockstar North). It first launched on the Amiga platform on February 14, 1991, and was later ported to many platforms including the NES. The goal is to guide a group of constantly marching lemmings safely to the exit. Players assign different skills to lemmings, such as climbers, parachuters, bombers, blockers, builders, and diggers, to help them overcome various obstacles and traps. Each level has a set number of lemmings and skill limits, and players must save enough lemmings within the time limit to pass. Loved for its unique gameplay and challenge, it became one of the most popular puzzle games of the 1990s.
