Sudden Musician (Japanese: Ikinari Musician) is a music game released by Tokyo Shoseki on March 5, 1987 for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). Players can play the electronic keyboard and accompany with various instruments. The game features multiple modes including SOLO, DUET, and computer battle mode. SOLO mode lets players choose one of 25 rhythms for accompaniment; DUET mode supports two-player cooperative play; there is also a competitive mode against the computer. Players can freely compose music or play built-in songs. The game uses the D-pad to control the keyboard, posing certain challenges to players' operation skills.
