Gotcha! is an NES shooter developed by Atlus and published by LJN in 1987. Playable with the NES Zapper light gun and controller, it tasks players with crossing enemy territory in three battle environments—forest, warehouse district, and snowfield—to capture the opposing flag and return safely to base. Enemies in forest and snow levels wear military uniforms, while warehouse district foes sport early 1980s punk styles. Inspired by the 1985 film *Gotcha!* and themed around paintball, the game requires players to avoid enemy hits, manage limited ammo, and complete missions within a time limit. Difficulty and enemy reaction speed increase as levels progress.
