DuckTales is an action platformer developed and published by Capcom in 1989, adapted from Disney's animated series of the same name. Players control Scrooge McDuck on a global treasure hunt to collect five major treasures and become the world's richest duck. The game features five main levels set in the Amazon, the Himalayas, African Mines, the Moon in outer space, and Transylvania. Each level is filled with unique enemies and challenges; players use Scrooge's cane to attack and jump to overcome obstacles and defeat foes. Praised for its beautiful graphics, smooth controls, and rich level design, it is a classic NES title. In 2013, WayForward Technologies developed the high-definition remake *DuckTales: Remastered*. While retaining the original's essence, it upgraded graphics and sound, and brought in voice actors from the original animation to voice characters, delivering a brand-new gaming experience.
