Bust-A-Move 2 - Arcade Edition is a classic puzzle game launched by TAITO in 1995. It retains the core gameplay of its predecessor: players control a small dragon to shoot colored bubbles from the bottom of the screen, aiming to group and eliminate matching bubbles. When three or more same-colored bubbles connect, they burst and award points.
In single-player mode, the game features multiple levels. After clearing each main stage, players can choose between two different paths for the next level, similar to the stage selection in Darius. A full playthrough requires completing 30 sub-stages, but the final level is relatively easy, offering an unexpectedly relaxed experience.
The game also supports a two-player versus mode for competitive play with friends. By clearing large numbers of bubbles, players can send extra bubbles to their opponent’s play area to raise the challenge, boosting interactivity and fun.
With its simple, accessible controls and challenging level design, Bust-A-Move 2 - Arcade Edition has become a beloved classic among many players.
