Discover the origins of the world's most beloved life-simulation series with Animal Forest (Doubutsu no Mori) for the Nintendo 64. This is the official Simplified Chinese version, originally produced for the iQue Player. As the first-ever entry in the Animal Crossing franchise, this game invites players to move into a quaint village inhabited by charming, anthropomorphic animals. In Animal Forest, there are no set goals; you are free to live your life as you see fit. Catch fish, collect insects, plant flowers, and decorate your home as you build relationships with your neighbors. The game operates on a real-time clock, meaning the seasons change, and special holidays occur just like in the real world. This N64 version laid the groundwork for the entire series' mechanics. It is a peaceful, creative, and endlessly engaging experience that remains a landmark in Nintendo's history of innovation.
