Action 52 is a notorious unlicensed game compilation released for the NES in 1991 by Active Enterprises. It famously advertised 52 'new and original' games on a single cartridge, initially selling for a premium price. The collection features a variety of genres, primarily side-scrolling shooters and platformers, but is widely known in the gaming community for its numerous glitches, technical flaws, and the debut of 'The Cheetahmen.' Despite its quality issues, Action 52 has become a legendary piece of video game history and a high-profile collector's item due to its unique backstory and the ambition of its creators.
